We both came from homes with divorced parents, so we were determined to have a Godly marriage that not only survived but thrived.
For years we did everything we could to learn and grow in our marriage. Despite (or because of) our covenant commitment and our efforts to “do marriage right”, we found ourselves facing the plot of the enemy trying to destroy our marriage and needed help to find our way back to each other in 2011.

What the enemy meant for evil, the Lord used for good. We attended a Marriage intensive in Amarillo, Texas called the Hideaway Experience, where transformation happened individually as well as a couple. We found healing, recognizing our pain was tied to lies we didn’t know we were believing, and we learned how to apply Biblical truths.

What we gained from those experiences propelled us into deeper intimacy and a greater marriage than we ever imagined was possible. We created a new vision for our marriage – one we could live into for decades to come. We celebrated our restoration and renewed our wedding vows on December 31, 2011.

Regardless of where you are in your marriage, we want you to know God wastes nothing and it is possible to have a marriage that leads to a lifetime of love and intimacy.
